Prayer Shawls 

 

These are shawls knitted or crocheted by members of the congregation. While they are being made, prayers are offered for the recipient.  Upon completion, the shawl is put in gift bag with a prayer included inside the bag.  It is given to someone who is ill, was injured, or needs special prayers.  

 Women’s needlecraft group meets on the 2^nd Wednesday of each month at 6:30 in Luther Hall.  We bring our own drinks and a few dollars for Bob’s Carry-out Pizza.

We each bring a prayer shawl or other needlecraft project on which we are working. 

It is a relaxing evening of fellowship and service.
