WELCA (Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) Purpose Statement
“As a community of women, created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit,
We commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in In the Church, Society, and the World.”
WELCA meets on the 4th Sunday of each month following the 10 AM service in Luther Hall lounge. We have a brief devotion, prayers, offering, and business meeting. We work on service projects or crafts or have fellowship.
We are always looking for new ways to serve our community and our church. Please come and share your ideas.
