Sunday on Monday

Christian Education at St. John’s

After a year of Sunday on Monday, the Christian Education Committee has made plans to continue Sunday on Monday for another year.  What is the premise of SOM?  Instead of Sunday morning education, we will have “Sunday School” on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month starting September 16.  Hence the name, Sundays on Mondays.  SOM main focus is to tell the story and equip parents to be able to talk about the story at home.  Christian Education works best when the story is brought home and is told not only by the pastor and teachers, but by the parents.  Since Christian Education is an expectation of all Christians, SOM is open to Adults as well.
