Pastor - The Rev. Matthew Aaron Day 

Pastor Matt came to us from Gettysburg, PA in 2016.  Pastor Matt believes in creating and fostering a sense of community through building relationships with one another. He says, “We are first and foremost children of God who live in community with one another. Pastor Day grew up in Owings Mills, MD where both of his parents still live today. His father is a retired pastor and his mother is a retired pre-school teacher. He has a younger brother who is a nurse. Pastor Day is a graduate of the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg in 2012. He is married to The Rev. Diane Day, a Lutheran pastor in Charles Town, WV. They have one son, Thomas, and two dogs, Maple and Louie. Some of Pastor Matt’s passions include electronics, website design, use of technology in the parish, Ham radio, cooking, and reading. Music is a large factor in his life and he enjoys playing stringed instruments. He also likes vegetable gardening, fishing and camping.
